• WANT TO AFFORD A PROPERTY IN YOUR DREAM LOCATION?
• WORRIED YOUR BLOCK IS TOO HARD TO WORK WITH?
• WANT TO CREATE A UNIQUE HOUSE ON A UNIQUE BLOCK?
“Not all blocks were created equal,” says architect Darren Naftal. Some are small, have poor access to sunlight, are subject to a heritage overlay, or are in a noisy environment. In other words, they’re too much trouble. But not to Darren: “I get excited and see an opportunity to create my clients’ dream home, in the location they want.” Difficult blocks are usually ignored, and with such low demand, comes a low price. A block may have challenges but the location is perfect, or maybe you’ve bought a block only to find out about its difficulties afterwards.

WORK WITH DARREN FROM START TO FINISH.
In most architectural practices you meet with the head architect/partner, but you are soon passed from one employee to another. Darren is a sole practitioner, he works directly with his clients from the first meeting till the day they move in – “I love every part of the process of creating a house, and having run my practice for 15 years now, I know that the strength of the client and architect relationship is paramount to the success of any project.”
Darren works on just a handful of projects a year to ensure each gets the time needed to create homes he is proud of, his clients love, and are tailored to meet their way of life yet are adaptable to suit their growing needs.
“Buildings are the biggest machines we operate. I feel a great responsibility to use our resources and energy efficiently, designing high quality houses that will stand the test of time and be in harmony with our environment.”
